Hey there! I’m Courtney or Court to most and I am the owner of Copper State Pizza Truck! Growing up working in my dads pizzeria for most of my teenage years, I never had the desire to want stay within the restaurant business. I wanted to pursue Event Planning, so I did. Straight out of high-school, I packed up and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and received my Certification from the International School of Hospitality as a certified Event Planner with emphasis in Hospitality and Conference Management. I instantly landed a very good paying job for my age doing exactly what I went to school for. But let's be real, living in Las Vegas is... different. After a few years I was over it and I moved right back to where I'm from, beautiful Arizona! I've always had an entrepreneur mindset, and been hungry to make money (Thanks Dad) but it took a-lot of life to happen just to do a full 360 back to the pizza biz but I could not be more grateful that it did!! I enjoy a-lot of things about owning my own business but what I enjoy the most is getting to meet and connect with so many different people all over the valley and sharing my love through one of my pizzas. That might sound absolutely bizarre probably to anyone who reads this (besides other Chefs spreading the same food love) and you can call me crazy for choosing to make my living cooking in front of an 800 degree oven in the middle of an Arizona summer, but hey, everyone’s a little crazy right? It keeps things interesting! 😜
Besides killing it at being a business owner, I have two little broke best-friends, who keep me very busy and eat all my snacks, but that also keep me so motivated and are absolute mamas boys! They make my world go round. ❤️
